What we aim for

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That includes:

  • Text and buttons with strong colour contrast, set in Public Sans, a typeface designed for the U.S. Web Design System to be clear and easy to read
  • Every page usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link
  • Headings, labels and image descriptions for screen readers
  • Animation that switches off when your device is set to reduce motion
  • Videos that load only when you choose to play them
