A toothache or other dental emergency. Call your own dentist. Dr. Dansie removes wisdom teeth and other teeth; the dentists at each office handle all other care.

Before your visit

  • Watch the video for your procedure
  • Follow the office's eating and drinking instructions
  • Bring your insurance card, photo ID and a list of your medicines
  • Bring an adult to drive you home if you're having oral or IV sedation

Everything to do before your visit

After your visit

  • Bite on the gauze, then take it out after about 1 hour
  • Ice 15 minutes on, 15 off for the first 4 hours
  • No straws, smoking or rinsing on the first day
  • Warm salt-water rinses from the next morning; syringe from day 5
