A toothache or other dental emergency. Call your own dentist. Dr. Dansie removes wisdom teeth and other teeth; the dentists at each office handle all other care.

Privacy

This website is for finding an office and reading instructions. It has no accounts and no advertising trackers, and the only place it asks for your details is the chat.

What this site collects

  • Visit records. The service that hosts this site records basic information about each visit, such as the page, the type of browser and device, and a rough location worked out from your internet address. It's used to count visits and keep the site secure.
  • Messages you send in the chat. If you use the "Text us here" chat, we receive the name, mobile number and message you enter. They're kept in the messaging system the practice uses (HighLevel) so Dr. Dansie's team can reply to you by text or email, and they're used only to answer you. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to stop texts.
  • Your last office. When you pick an office in the office finder, your browser remembers it on your own device so it's selected next time. It isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Apart from the chat, we don't ask for your name or phone number on this site. We never ask for health details, and we don't sell or share information about visitors.

Outside services the pages load

Some parts of the site come from other companies, which can see that your device asked for them. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.
  • Unsplash supplies the photos at the top of some pages.
  • YouTube plays Dr. Dansie's instruction videos. A video loads only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
  • Google Maps opens only when you tap Directions.

Links to a partner office's website take you to that office's site, which has its own privacy practices.

Your health information

Information about your care, such as x-rays, health history and treatment notes, is collected at the dental office, not on this website. It's protected under federal privacy law (HIPAA). Ask the office where you're seen for its Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how your records are used and your rights to see them.

Please don't send health details through the chat, by email or on social media. Call instead: your office for appointments, or Dr. Dansie's post-op line at 801-465-2754 with a question or concern after your visit.
